Revolut and Visa announced on Monday a deal that will allow Revolut to expand its global business growth, according to a statement to which Minute News had access. With this agreement, Revolut will be able to launch its offer for five new regions.
This partnership will mean that Revolut gives priority to issuing Visa cards, according to the same press release.
"We are very excited about this partnership with Visa, which is the world leader in digital payments, which will bring our common vision of innovative payment experiences to life," said Nikolay Storonsky, founder and CEO of Revolut. "The new global deal with Visa is ripe for Revolut as we move into new markets and offer even more consumers the control, flexibility and resources our European customers have enjoyed for years," he added.
Revolut offers its users a wide range of digital financial services through a mobile application, including currency exchange, budget management and peer to peer payments, all linked to a Visa card.
